Prairie Land Towing & Service Center was established in Sun Prairie, WI in 1984. The late Gary Menzel started the company with a vision of great service with a smile at a reasonable rate. Gary established himself with a Chevrolet Dealership in Weyauwega, WI along with a Texaco Station in Lake Mills, WI before entering the Dane County Market. Making Sun Prairie our Corporate Office we are a full service towing, recovery, and repair operation.
With over 100 pieces of equipment we are Wisconsin's Largest Towing Service. Prairie Land Towing is internet dispatchable and customers can view and search stored vehicles online. Municipalities can view vehicles towed exclusively within their city contracts through our database with a user name and password. Company vehicles are GPS tracked to accurately estimate arrivals along with High Definition recording devices within all units.
Prairie Land Towing is a proud AAA service provider — Wisconsin's largest — and a member of the Wisconsin Towing Association (WTA), Towing and Recovery Association of America (TRAA), and the Wisconsin Towing and Recovery Association of America (WTRAA).
